Raffle Tickets are $10 a ticket. All tickets are the same price. There is no discount for multiple tickets.
Eligibility requirements:
Kansas resident
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must not be a prohibited person
World War II History Center Foundation (the "Foundation") Board Members and their families are ineligible for the raffle.
Foundation volunteers and members are eligible for the raffle.
Increase your chances of winning by purchasing multiple raffle tickets - there is no limit on how many tickets you can buy
Tickets must be purchased in person from the Museum or a member of the Foundation
Each raffle ticket to participate in a charitable raffle shall be paid for in advance by cash, check, or credit card. Credit may not be extended for the purchase of tickets
The winning raffle ticket drawing is to be held The weekend of the World War II History Center Open House and WWII Reenacting Corps Public Battle, on Saturday 08 November 2025 (date subject to change based on the dates of El Dorado's "Celebration of Freedom" events)
You do not need to be present to win. The winning number will be posted on this event webpage, and the winner will be contacted by phone (primary) or by email (secondary)
Winners will have to undergo a final verification of eligibility before any prizes are awarded
Conditions for Redrawing a Winning Raffle Ticket at Random:
If the winning raffle ticket owner cannot be contacted and confirmed as the winner within two weeks of the drawing
If the owner of the winning ticket is determined to be ineligible
If a winning ticket drawn is determined to be illegible
A legal record of transfer of the firearm and accessories (the "prize") will be made and documented
The confirmed winner can pick up their prize from the World War II History Center (119 W. Central Ave., El Dorado, KS 67042)
If requested by the confirmed winner, the prize can be shipped to an FFL at the confirmed winner's expense. Final cost and shipping time to be determined by the Foundation should this scenario occur
The World War II History Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with annual gross receipts less than $25,000. As such, a charitable raffle license is not required by law.
The retail value of the prize is $799.99. As such, the prize value being less than $1,199, annual reporting of raffle winners to the Kansas Department of Revenue is not required.
