Seated in the wheelchair is one of the last remaining survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor in the Wichita area.

A display of Pearl Harbor memorabilia, photographs and posters.

On the left, a scale model of the cruiser USS Salt Lake City that was escorting the USS Enterprise battle group away from Pearl Harbor the day of the attack.  The model was built by a member of her crew.

Four honor guards made up of local JROTC cadets and local reenactors.

Jim Denison, organizer of the event, honorary Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association member, and World War II History Center member.

This is the WWII veteran that built the scale model of the USS Salt Lake City.  He has just completed ringing the remembrance bell to honor those killed in the Pearl Harbor attack.

A Pearl Harbor survivor speaks about his experience.

Some of the volunteer crew who helped make this event, and our participation in it, possible.
