Traces Traveling Bus Tour about Midwestern POWs

The Traces traveling exhibit travels all over the Midwest for anyone willing to host it.

The bus is jam-packed with exhibits and information.

The World War II History Center co-hosted the event, along with Butler Community College.  The History Center had an open house during the Bus Tour event.

Volunteer David Cupp chats with author Lowell May who was on-hand to talk with visitors about his recently published book (co-authored with Mark Schock), Prisoners of War in Kansas 1943-1946.  Copies of this book can be purchased at this website.

Mr. May also brought along part of his collection of photos taken at several POW camps in Kansas, as well as a scale model of the camp in Concordia, Kansas.
